Use:

• In order for it to burn more evenly, leave the candle lit until the entire surface is melted (minimum 1 hour);
• When lighting it the first time, be sure to hold the heat source on the wick until the wood browns;
• Shorten the wick to about ¼" before each use (break off the burnt part or use a nail cutter). This prevents the flame from getting too high and will maximize its duration;
• Do not leave any flammable debris in the candle (wick tips, flowers, matches...);
• Keep out of reach of children and pets, and never leave unattended;
