An exceptional honey from Miels D'anicet, organic and unpasteurised!
Never pasteurised, Miels D'anicets autumn honey is cold-extracted, filtered and liquefied at low temperature to preserve the honey's aromas and properties, while enjoying its liquid texture!
Harvested in mid-August, autumn honey has a golden colour and a delicate flavour.
With sweet (vanilla) and fruity (apricot) notes accompanied by an aromatic hint of beeswax, it comes mainly from the goldenrod blossom.
Crystallised honey is not wasted! With a little stirring, it still blends very well with other ingredients. To liquefy the honey, heat it gently in a bain-marie. It is important never to heat honey in a microwave oven.

Flavours and combinations
Taste | Delicate and fruity, warm notes (vanilla), fruity notes (apricot) and beeswax.
Goes well with honey desserts and stone fruits (peaches, plums, etc.) Its warm, vanilla flavour makes it an ideal all-purpose honey.
STORAGE
Honey has an infinite shelf life! We recommend that you consume it within 2 years of harvesting. Like all foods, honey is a commodity whose nutrients must be preserved. Here are the ideal conditions for optimum preservation.
LIQUID
Keep your jar of honey in a cupboard, away from light, even if it has been opened. Because honey contains natural antibiotics, it is a very stable food. After a while, it can undergo transformations (phase changes). From a liquid, honey can become more solid. Its appearance will change and its taste may alter. So you won't get the same taste from honey that has been open for a very long time, but it's still "edible".
If you heat it in a saucepan, the water should not boil, but should simmer slightly.
