A good input of Vitamin D will help you through the winter in good health! Prevent Vitamin D deficiency with the Mist Vitamin D of Land Art!
What are its properties?
This extraordinary vitamin helps development and maintenance of bones and teeth; helps absorption of calcium and phosphorus, thereby reducing the risk of osteoporosis. It also prevents several auto-immune diseases.
Where does it come from?
The skin synthesizes it when exposed to sunlight, specifically UVB. However, this process depends on various factors, such as the latitude, the time of day, the season, the age and the pigmentention of the skin. Unfortunately, between October and March in Canada, this synthesis is not done.
For who?
-People who are not expose enough to the sun.
-All adults over 50 years (Health Canada recommends a daily supplement of 400 IU)
Taking a supplement is also advised by the Canadian Cancer Society.
A solution?
There are three ways to remedy this situation: eat an unrealistic amount of certain foods, travel to a different countrie, or taking supplements. Indeed, the recommended intake of vitamin D is virtually impossible to respect on an alimentary base only.
